Information |
We invite you to support the third Asian Particle Accelerator
Conference (APAC 2004) by taking a booth at the Industrial
Exhibit. The 2004 conference, organized by PAL, will be held
on March 22-26, 2004 in Gyeongju, Korea. Held every three
years, the last two meetings of the APAC series have each
had about 300 participants, and we anticipate a similar number
will attend the Gyeongju meeting. As this is the first time
the conference is taking place in Korea, this is an excellent
opportunity for your company to get exposure in the Asian
market, particularly to participants from China, Japan, and
Korea.
The conference and the industrial exhibit will be held at
the Hotel Hyundai in Gyeongju. We will
arrange the Exhibits in the central portion of the poster
session room (Convention Hall A,B) from Monday, March 22 to
Thursday, March 25 (floor
plan). In addition, refreshments will be served
at the poster session room.

| Exhibition
Booths |
Exhibit booths are approximately 3m x 3m with partitions
between adjacent booths. (standard booth layout is available
here). Tables and chairs will
be provided, and each booth will be supplied with a 220V outlet
(1 kW). Please indicate your needs in the Exhibitor Registration
Form. Additional equipment, furniture, and electrical services,
beyond the standard set-up should be arranged with the Exhibition
Coordinator, and may cost additional fees.
- Assignment of Space
Display booths will be assigned on a "first come, first
served" basis with reservations made after payment has
been received in full. The Exhibit Coordinator will allocate
space so that the arrangement is, in his view, best for both
exhibitors and visitors.
- Installation of Displays
Booths will be ready for installation of displays from 15:00
on Sunday, March 21, 2004. Exhibitions should be ready for
viewing by 08:45 on Monday, March 22, 2004, including the
removal of all packing materials (a storage room will be available),
and should remain in place until 18:00 on Thursday, March
25, 2004.
- Customs Brokerage
Customs clearance for importation/exportation of items must
be arranged with the Korean Customs Services. There is a Customs
Services Office at the Airport. The APAC 2004 Conference Organizer
is not responsible for customs processing. Please visit the
Korean
Customs Service web site for more information.
- Remarks
Any services from the Hotel Hyundai Gyeongju in addition to
the standard exhibition booths described above are optional.
Any such services are to be arranged between the exhibitor
and the Hotel Hyundai Gyeongju, but the special rates agreed
for the conference participants do apply to the exhibitors.

| Exhibitor
and Booth Reservation |
1. The exhibitor rate is US $2,000 per booth. Payment is
required at the time of reservation.
2. Participation in the industrial exhibition entitles two
persons from your company to full conference registration.
If you want to bring some additional exhibit participants,
you need to pay US $250 per each person. (Another full conference
registration)
3. The Exhibition Coordinator will try to honor exhibit
space requests based on the order in which reservations
are received.
4. To ensure reservation, the completed registration form
(PDF
form or
MS Word form) must be received by fax before the deadline.
Note that the reservation deadline for exhibition registration
is February 15, 2004. We encourage you to act early as the
space is limited. (Up to 10 units depending on the booth
and poster board sizes)
5. Refund policy: An administrative fee of US $100 will
be withheld for any cancellation received in writing prior
to February 15, 2004. No refunds will be given for cancellations
received after February 15, 2004.
6. The conference reserves the right to approve the character
of any display and to prohibit any display that, because
of noise or other objectionable features, detracts from
the scientific and educational nature of the exhibit.
7. During the hours the exhibit is open, each booth must
be attended by persons technically qualified to explain
and demonstrate the equipment or services displayed.
8. Further details will be provided to registered exhibitors.

| Delivery Procedure of Exhibition Materials |
We do recommend that your exhibition materials and consignment of products have to be arrived in Hotel Hyundai/Gyeongju, between March 19 (Friday) and March 21 (Sunday). To avoid mixing with other conference exhibition, we do also suggest to write down the delivery address below.
