Call for Papers

We are soliciting original papers from the fields of Status of Accelerators in Operation and New Accelerator Projects, High Energy Accelerators and Linear Accelerators, Cyclotrons, Synchrotrons and Colliders, Synchrotron Radiation Light Sources, Beam Dynamics, Accelerator Technologies, Radioactive Beam Facilities and Neutron Sources, Medical Accelerators, Accelerator Application and Miscellaneous, Free Electron Lasers and Next Generation Light Sources (Dr. Hogil Kim Memorial Session), and High Power Proton Accelerator (Special Session).

The scientific program will consist of invited talks, and poster presentations. All contributed papers are to be submitted presuming poster presentation.

Since contributions are not accepted for publication only, any paper accepted for presentation that is not presented at the conference will be excluded from the proceedings. Furthermore, the APAC 2004 Program Committee reserves the right to refuse to publish any papers not properly presented in the poster sessions.

Guidelines for Abstract Submission

An abstract is a concise summary of a paper. It should describe the paper and include a statement of the issue, research methods, and significant findings. Abstracts should be written as one continuous paragraph with less than 1000 words.

Deadlines

The deadline for the submission of abstracts to APAC 2004 is January 10, 2004. Notification of the acceptance of contributions for presentation at the conference will be made in January 24, 2004. Authors wishing to submit post-deadline abstracts should make requests via the Conference Secretariat.
Special Characters
Since electronic submission over the Web does not allow a simple, straight forward system that would allow the use of Greek symbols, superscripts, or subscripts, authors are encouraged to avoid their use.
Classification of Abstracts
Authors are reminded to indicate the correct category for their abstracts. This will ensure that, if accepted for presentation, the paper will be correctly placed within the conference program. Please consult the classification categories listed.
Presenter
It is assumed that the first author will present the paper if it is selected. If a person other than the first author is to present the paper, then this should be mentioned.
